The Lincoln community came together for 24 hours of giving from 12:00am to 11:59pm. Gifts were made online at this site. Gifts were also accepted in person between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm at the Lincoln Community Foundation, 215 Centennial Mall South.
All donations were matched with a proportional share of a $200,000 challenge match pool of funds. The challenge fund was provided by the Lincoln Community Foundation and the generous partner sponsors listed below.
All donations on givetolincoln.razoo.com are made to the Razoo Foundation, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization which permits donors to advise a regranting of their donations to IRS 501(c)(3) organizations. It is Razoo Foundation’s normal practice to regrant 97.1% of its contribution to the qualifying organization as advised by the donor, retaining 2.9% for Razoo Foundation’s expenses (including credit card transaction costs). However, 100% of your donation is credited to you as a charitable contribution because it is made to the Razoo Foundation donor advised fund.
All donations are received and receipted by Razoo Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) charity that operates a donor advised fund to fulfill donor advisements.
