Our mission is to educate & build community using broadcast media, with diverse & independent voices that enrich our audiences.
KZUM is celebrating its 36th year on the air and continues to broadcast with the help of almost 100 VOLUNTEERS who sit behind the mic every week; and the 2.5 staff who create everything else to make what you're hearing at 89.3 FM the best possible.
Besides being your only local avenue for the most diverse music and talk, KZUM has goals of extending our reach into the community by sharing more community stories and doing more events for you, such as the upcoming Stransky Park concert series.
To do this well, we will need your help with the purchase of additional equipment and the support to cover the costs of the time and resources to produce those local events and better serve listeners wth over-the-air content.
Thank you for supporting the many volunteers that keep KZUM on the air every day; those that pore over countless hours of music and public affairs content to ensure that KZUM can continue to provide quality, local-centric programming not heard elsewhere.
